The story of Split has lasted for 17 centuries. In those 1700 years, the Palace developed and became a city, which today attracts with its rich tradition, magnificent history and the beauty of natural and cultural heritage.

Split is unique for its ever-living stone waterfront, Diocletian's Palace, UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bačvice Beach and Picigin and Marjan Forest Park, the most beautiful lookout point on the city, but also a refuge for all recreationists who come to it. The guardian of Split is the centuries-old, imposing fortress Klis, which in history was the seat of Croatian princes and kings Trpimirović.
